GradeWise…..the self-customizing Grading, Attendance and Report Card tool for teachers—saves time and avoids hassle |

GradeWise is a simple-to-use, teacher-configurable tool based on Microsoft Excel (required). By clicking one button, the user inputs student information:
· Student Name · School or Institution Name · Student Grade Level · Unique File Name · Starting and Ending Dates of Grading Period · Number of Subjects |

After entering the above information, simply click “OK”. GradeWise will, in seconds, build a custom grading sheet—with the proper number of grading weeks and the correct number of student subjects. |

Entering student scores couldn’t be easier. Just select the day and the subject and enter the student’s score along with the total possible points. Up to three scores per day per subject can be entered. |

Tracking attendance is simple, too. Just enter the student’s presence or absence for each school day, and GradeWise keeps a record. |

Finally, generating a report card at the end of the grading period couldn’t be easier. Simply click on the “ReportCard” tab, and most of the work is already done. Page 1 of the report card is shown below. It includes automatic fill-ins for Student information, as well as a section for Teacher Comments. |

The second page of the report card automatically generates the list of subjects for the student and the final cumulative score for each. The attendance record is also presented. Finally, a section is provided to rate Work Habits and Character. Generating the entire report card is a matter of only a few minutes. |

The report card may be saved as an Excel file, or printed for record-keeping purposes.
GradeWise requires Excel to be present on the user’s computer, and is compatible with Excel versions 1997, 2000, 2002, 2003 and 2007. It is reuseable for multiple students and for multiple years, and does not require a per-student license. It is available as a one-copy-per computer license. Distribution or sharing is not allowed. |
